In order to connect to ResNet you'll need a computer that meets the minimum requirements.  You'll also need :

A network cable (Ethernet cable, category 5 or better-available at most office supply, home hardware, or computer stores).  Campus bookstores sell network cables, too.

A Network Interface Card (NIC). Most computers purchased within the last three years have NICs already installed.
